Classes, Catering & Cakes!

We take pride in classes that focus on skills & developing a confidence in the kitchen that allows you to explore the world of food. These classes aren't just about recipes. Public classes are available & posted under the events tab, private classes & cooperate workshops may be booked as well.

From our love of sharing our passion for food comes our catering & it is all about fresh flavors from real food! Buffet style to plated- the food is always made with the best ingredients and everything is made fresh (never frozen). Great flavor & texture comes from great care & quality ingredients. Catering for anywhere from 1 to 100 people for private or cooperate events, we know it's the food that makes the event!

Custom designed cakes for any occasion are available for pick up or delivery. Whether it is for a birthday, wedding or a staff meeting, our cakes are made with great care from the finest ingredients and are never frozen. We can match invitations or a picture you've found online of a cake that you like. You can also sit down with a decorator and have help designing a custom cake. The possibilities are endless!

Chef Megan Babuska graduated with Honors from The Chef's Academy in 2009. After an internship at Greens Restaurant in San Francisco she returned to Indiana and took up cake decorating. Greens is a gourmet vegetarian restaurant, is the first veg eatery established in the US, it is responsible for the start of the vegetarian movement here. While in San Francisco she was Chef for a children's summer camp that had them in the kitchen & learning all about food. In Indiana she worked for 5 years as a decorator at Classic Cakes, a top 20 cake shop in the United States and #1 in Indiana. She has also cooked on the Indy Style morning show & has been referenced in several articles for her expertise in healthful cooking that does not sacrifice flavor and cooking with children.
"My passion is not just in the kitchen, but in sharing the experience. Teaching has been the most fun I've ever had in the kitchen & I am so blessed that I have been given a way to continue to do that. It's not about teaching recipes, anyone can read a recipe. It's about getting comfortable enough with your skills to explore your passion!" -Chef Megan
